My girlfriend and I are very excited about attending our first CoM and after some discussions (thanks Darius!) and research we decided your group might be the best fit for us.

We particularly like the fact that you describe yourselves as non-fanatic and liberal assembly of free-thinking individuals.

A little detail about our characters: I’m playing a slightly mischievous mercenary with sideline business, she would use magic and is keen to participate in some rituals of the group. Both of us have played our characters over a long time using different game systems (mainly CP & LT).

Based on your description I guess I would also like to use this opportunity to get in touch with the falcons and phoenix group within Mondschwingen. I would be very happy to hear from you regarding your general plans for CoM, please send me a pn.

Dari didn't tell much about you yet, but what he did sounds like your characters could actually fit our concept, so you're also mostly welcome to join us at Mythodea, too.

We're the good guys, but no fanatics who have to destroy anything nearly evil-looking. We're fighting evil, but not at any price. We also have a kind of hierarchy, but I highly assume an outsider won't notice it too easy, as most of our characters are friends, too - our hierarchy is predominatly a command structure in battle.

To be honest, I never heard before about CP and had to look it up (all hail google!), but I do know the rough outlines of LT, as some of the rules of a convention we'll visit after CoM are derived from it. But well... we'll all have to convert our characters to Conquest-rules. And as every year, I'll hate to do so

Unfortunately, none of our falcons is going to attend CoM, but your friend will have loads of phoenixes to discuss different kinds of magical theories. Nevertheless I think Darius, who would perhaps be a falcon, if his character had joined the group officially yet, and Anariell as a prospective eagle (and former falcon? not quite sure about that) will be great company for your mercenary.

Now... I'd grant you access to the area where we're planning, but do you speak enough German to understand it?^^ Otherwise we could make Darius our ambassador and interpreter, as his English should be best

Hi Caitlin,

Many thanks – well the board is a first step! I see, we are still refining the background to squeeze our previous characters in the CoM rules… We just spoke to Darius over the weekend, maybe we can have another Skype conference call with him and you present also, to exchange some ideas re characters. Would be fun!

Alright, due to our background we are slightly disillusioned in terms of the concept of good and evil so I guess we are not necessarily the good guys. However, we support your fight against the true corrupted evil and respect the morals of the individual… this is gonna lead into a philosophical discussion;-)

Well Curious Pastimes 2008 was founded by some people who broke away from LT. Well, I guess every big larp will have some LT aspects (the founder of Drachenfest used to attend as well). The UK has a long tradition Treasure Trap - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia etc... Where are you guys off to after CoM?

Hey guys, great to meet you many thanks for havin us!
We had a great time at Conquest, it's sad it was over so soon! Can't they just come up with a 9 das IC one?...
As for stew - for me that's very thick and with meat overdose just like Stew - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia but your one pot was very nice, too!
